In today’s time most of the people especially kids don’t use precautions for eyes. They watch tv unstoppable, play video games, stare at mobile and tablets and do studies without any break. It is very necessary to give some rest to eyes also. Continuous reading, playing games and watching movies, they all affect negatively on eyesight. Excess of anything is bad. That is why eyes also need some care. In routine just give some small breaks to eyes while working. Otherwise, eyesight becomes weaker, and you have to put on glasses for proper vision. But in Ayurveda, there are some ultimate remedies which work efficiently for eyes. They are simple home remedies and Ayurvedic medicine for eyesight improvement. Here we are giving you some simple remedies to get bright eyes and to increase eyesight.

Almonds and Fennel Seeds
Take equal amount of almonds, fennel seeds and mishri ( small sugar crystals). Grind them together to make a fine powder. Now store them in a clean container. Consume 10 grams of this mixture every night before going to bed with 250 ml of warm milk. Use this remedy for 40 days and see the result yourself. There will be no glasses and eyes are more bright. This remedy is best to cure weak eyesight fast, along with it this remedy relieve weakness of mind and amnesia.
Broccoli
Broccoli is a very useful remedy to increase eyesight without glasses. It contains vitamin B, lutein and zeaxanthin. These nutrients conserve vision as well as improve it. Eating broccoli is useful to keep exhaustion, soreness and blurred vision away. It enhances healthy eyesight by strengthening eyes and reducing eye fatigue.
Carrot
It is very nutritious and useful vegetable. Carrots can be consumed raw as well as in various dishes also. It is loaded with vitamin A which is essential to promote well being of eyes. Prefer to eat a raw carrot because cooking somewhat deteriorate its nutrition level.
Indian Gooseberry / Amla
It is a most effective Ayurvedic treatment for eyesight improvement. It is a rich source of vitamin C. you can consume Amla in any form such as powder, capsule or tablet, jam etc. you can also drink fresh Amla juice. You can also add honey to juice and drink this daily every morning. You can also take 1 tsp Amla powder with water at night before going to bed. It is the best tonic to keep eyes and eyesight healthy.
Eye exercises
Eye exercises make your eye muscles more flexible and bring energy and blood flow to eyes to maintain healthy vision. Exercises also improve focus of eyes.
Exercise 1 –
- Hold a pencil at arm’s length distance in front your face and try focus on it.
- Then Slowly bring it closer to your nose.
- Move it further from your eyes until you can’t keep it in focus.
- Repeat about 10 times a day.
Exercise 2 –
- Do eyelids flattering by blinking eyes 20 to 30 times repeatedly.
- Close your eyes and let them rest.
- Do this exercise twice a day.
Eye drops
Sometimes eyes feel itchy and dryness. So ayurvedic home made eyes drops can be used to clean and prevent infection and redness in eyes. Take milk and honey in equal amount and mix them well. Make sure milk is warm. Mix together and keep stirring until honey is smooth in milk. Use an eye dropper to store this solution. Drop 2 3 drops into eyes several times a day. This is very effective Ayurvedic eyedrop to increase eyesight.
